About The Beta Mu Nu Chapter

The Beta Mu Nu was chartered on August 29, 2013 in Calera, AL Alabama (Calera was the city at the center of the Voting Rights Act Supreme Court decision earlier this year). The brothers in the foundation stage of the chapter felt that it was time for a presence of Omega to become manifest in Shelby County.

Friendship is Essential to the Soul

We celebrate our motto as we believe that friendship is essential to life. “Friendship is the strongest tie that binds men together. Friendship is always motivated by love; and love always thinks not in terms of itself but in terms of those whom the individual may love.” – Bishop Edgar A. Love

Our Cardinal Principles:

Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, Uplift

The members of Beta Mu Nu Chapter participate in fellowship among college men, promote the principles of manhood, scholarship, perseverance, and uplift. These efforts have allowed Beta Mu Nu chapter to continue to shed an aspiring light within the surrounding communities by providing annual scholarships and charitable donations to families in need.
